This is typically obtained from CO2, but, may also be derived from simple organic compounds (such as photosynthetic intermediates). The use of either CO2 injection or Flourish Excelâ„¢ does not necessarily negate the use of the other. Because the processes of producing photosynthetic intermediates and building onto them occur simultaneously, one can derive a substantial benefit with the use of Flourish Excelâ„¢ either alone or in conjunction with CO2 . The combination is particularly ideal for situations when continuing to add CO2 could result in dangerously low pH levels. Feeding Instructions
Feed 1 to 2 times daily. Break off a small portion of the flatpack or pop out a blister cube and drop it directly into the aquarium (or thaw slightly in a cup of aquarium water before pouring it in). Only feed the amount your fish can completely consume within 3 to 5 minutes. Remove any uneaten food to maintain pristine water quality.
Pro Tip: Keep frozen until use. Avoid microwaving or thawing in hot water, as extreme heat breaks down the valuable natural nutrients.

As a result, the regulator is suitable for small/nano aquariums as the bubble rate (dose) can be reduced as low as 1 bubble / 10 seconds.Because the needle valve can rotate, the regulator can be used with either horizontal or vertical cylinder valves. The stem/nut can also be removed and can then connect to nano cartridges, making the regulator suitable for nano aquariums, and much larger aquariums.The integrated solenoid valve provides the ability to automatically shut off the CO2 at timed intervals, e.g. to sync with the aquarium lighting. This ensure CO2 is not being dosed when it's not needed, and will therefore extend the lifespan of your CO2 cylinder and save money. The 12v DC solenoid (mains transformer included) provides safe, low temperature, and guaranteed no noise operation.Dual pressure gauges indicate the cylinder pressure and the output / working pressure.
Instructions
Tighten the regulator to your CO2 cylinder using a spanner or wrench. Do not use your hands to tighten, it will not create sufficient seal and be likely to leak.
Set the output pressure to minimum by turning the pressure adjuster knob fully anticlockwise.
Close the needle valve by turning fully clockwise.
Plug the solenoid into a mains socket and switch on.
Open the flow of gas from your CO2 cylinder.
The cylinder pressure gauge will now indicate the pressure of the cylinder. Turn the pressure adjuster clockwise until it reads 40PSI, which is a good starting point for a single diffuser installation.
With the bubble counter attached, turn the needle valve anticlockwise to achieve the bubble rate desired. 1 bubble / second is suitable for a 150L aquarium - adjust your dosing in accordance to this, i.e. 2 bubble / second for 300L aquarium.

KanaPlex is a blended kanamycin based medication that safely and effectively treats several fungal, and bacterial fish diseases (dropsy, popeye, fin/tail rot, septicemia). Because it is absorbed by fish it is useful in treating internal infections in those situations where food is refused. It does not adversely affect the filter bed and is easily removed with carbon. When used in a medicated food mix, it is excellent for treating bacterial infections in tanks that contain invertebrates. For use in freshwater or marine aquaria.

Phorax - Phosphate Remover
JUWEL Phorax is a highly effective filter medium used to break down phosphates in your aquarium. This effectively reduces the growth of algae and can contribute to improved plant growth.
Phosphate regularly gets into aquariums through fish food and are naturally very unlikely to be broken down. However, plants need only tiny quantities of phosphate for their natural growth (fresh water: 0.05 mg/l, saltwater 0.01 mg/l). Too much phosphate can, in some cases, trigger prolific algae growth.
Phorax consists of an aluminium mineral which binds dissolved phosphate by creating a water-insoluble aluminium phosphate and removing it from the water. This makes JUWEL Phorax highly effective, binding up to 12 mg of phosphate per gram of Phorax.
