1. Delivery Options & Rates
🚚 Door-to-Door Home Delivery
We partner with reliable courier networks to bring your orders directly to your doorstep.
*Gauteng Local Delivery: R89.00 (FREE on orders over R1,500.00)
*Estimated Delivery Time: 1 - 2 Business Days
*National Delivery (Rest of SA): R129.00 (FREE on orders over R1,500.00)
*Estimated Delivery Time: 3 - 5 Business Days
📦 Locker & Counter Pickup (Pargo / Bob Box / Pudo)
A budget-friendly, convenient option for lightweight orders under 15kg. Collect your parcel at your local Clicks, fuel station, or smart locker bank at your convenience.
*Flat Rate Nationwide: R59.00 (FREE on orders over R1,000.00)
*Weight Limit: Strictly for orders under 15kg.
*How to order: You must specify your preferred locker location in the "Order Notes" box on the cart page before proceeding to checkout.
2. Specialized Heavy & Fragile Freight (Aquariums & Cabinets)
Large glass aquariums and cabinets are exceptionally fragile and cannot be transported via standard courier networks.
*Custom Crating Fee: All large aquariums incur a non-refundable R500.00 Custom Wooden Crating Fee at checkout. This fee strictly covers the specialized timber and labor required to securely crate the glass tank for safe transport (this will be included in the total shipping cost)
*Freight Invoice: The actual transport cost is calculated manually by our logistics team based on your exact delivery address. A separate freight invoice will be emailed to you after checkout. This invoice must be settled in full before your aquarium is dispatched.
3. Fulfillment & Dispatch
Orders are processed and dispatched Monday through Friday (excluding public holidays). Once your order leaves our facility, a tracking number will be emailed to you immediately so you can monitor its progress.
Delivery Timelines: Dorry Pets dispatches and delivers from Monday to Friday. Standard delivery lead times are between 1 to 5 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays.

Extended Delivery: If a product requires an extended delivery time, we will notify you telephonically. Items with extended delivery times are shipped with your approval as soon as they become available from the manufacturer.
Undeliverable Packages & Double Delivery: Please ensure you provide the correct delivery details and that a responsible person is available to sign for and receive your order. If a package is undeliverable, it will be returned to our offices, and we will contact you to reschedule delivery (which may incur additional costs). Dorry Pets will not be held responsible whatsoever for missing parcels if they have been signed for at the provided delivery address.
Frozen Fish Food Delivery: Dorry Pets packages frozen food orders in the best way possible to ensure the product remains frozen for as long as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that it will arrive in a frozen state, and do not accept responsibility if the order arrives thawed.
