Maintenance alert
Over time, filtration media can become clogged with detritus reducing or obstructing the flow of water through it. When this happens in Tidal™ filters, water is redirected around the filter and back into the aquarium through an outlet on the side. The redirected water pushes up the blue maintenance alert on the top of the filter, signaling that the filter needs to be cleaned.
No mess maintenance
The basket is fully removable and snaps into the lid of the filter for easy and drip-free transit to a sink or hose for cleaning.
Self-priming pump
The self-priming pump means there's no need to fill the filter basket with water, start a siphon, monitor the filter, or any of the other headaches of starting a new filter. This also means that after a power outage, the filter will automatically restart itself.

Ventilation slots
Ventilation slots in the lid of the filter and aeration grooves in the outflow ensure that water returned to the tank is fully oxygenated and maximize gas exchange during filtration.
Bottom-to-top flow
The pump pushes water up into the basket of the filter, entering through the bottom of the basket and being pushed out the top. A bottom-to-top flow ensures that water comes into contact will all filter media, and cannot go around or over filter media as with hang on back filters with a back-to-front flow.

Cholla wood is a product from the Cylindropuntia bigelovii Cactus found mainly Mexico and USA. When the cacti die and dry out, the wood remains. However, these cholla is gathered ‘locally’. Because Cholla is hollow it make a great hiding place for baby shrimp and adult shrimp especially while moulting and vulnerable.
Cholla will break down over a very long period of time and a bio-film will form on which the shrimp will forage.

What makes StressGuard very successful at healing is the fact that it contains protein active colloids. This protein active colloidal agent actively seeks out any wounds, abrasions, or places where exposed proteins are and attaches to this area to help directly deliver the disinfectant in the product and start the healing process. This protein active colloid, because it binds to the exposed proteins, also acts like a liquid bandage to the abrasion. Some products are marketed to be squirted in the bag when a fish is purchased. Those products are generally acidic, with some brands being a very strong acid. Putting such a product in a small, enclosed container with a fish often does more harm than any intended good. Kamoer ATO One SE is a smart water replenishing device for meeting the needs of using freshwater reservoir. As long as the sensors and refill pump are installed, it can work after powering on without any settings. Quick Start Guide
InstallationStep 1: Mount the optical sensor (S2) to normal water level. Note that the optical level sensor should be away from the air bubbles, otherwise it will be misunderstood due to interference.Step 2: Mount the float sensor (S1) above normal water level. If the water level reaches this position, it means that the optical sensor has failed, the device will alarm and force the refill pump to stop working. Note that the float sensor bracket cannot be reversed and should be away from the floater, otherwise the plastic magnet will interfere with the sensor signal;Step 3: Connect ATO refill tube(Pump<-> Siphon Break <-> Tube Holder)。Note the siphon break should be installed in the freshwater reservoir and ensure that it is higher than the position of the liquid level of the freshwater reservoir at any time.Step 4: Connect the refill pump’s cable to the Pump jack; Note that there is a valve control flow on the make-up water pump net cover, which is set to the required position according to the actual use.Step 5: Connect the adapter’s cable to the DC12V jack and power up the adapter.Please Note:

Matrix™ is a high porosity biomedia that provides efficient biofiltration for the removal of nitrogenous waste. Matrix™ is a porous inorganic solid about 10 mm in diameter. Each liter of Matrix™ provides as much surface (>~700 m2) as 170 liters of plastic balls! Plastic bio-materials provide only external surface area, whereas Matrix™ provides both external and internal macroporous surface area. These macropores are ideally sized for the support of nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria. This allows Matrix™, unlike other forms of biomedia, to remove nitrate along with ammonia and nitrite, simultaneously and in the same filter.
Matrix™ is completely inert and will not breakdown. It need not be replaced. Since the majority of the bacteria are internal, Matrix™ may be rinsed when needed without damaging the filter. Matrix™ is compatible with all types of wet or wet-dry filters.
