IODINE+ Supplement is part of the complete range of complementary major, minor and trace element complexes which together provide the needs of corals.
IODINE+ Supplement contains iodine and other halogens that are associated with many biological processes, one of them being the production of the pink pigments in the soft tissue of corals.
The halogens act both as antioxidants and oxidative agents within the soft tissue and mucus layer of corals, reducing the possibility of coral bleaching.
In active reef systems, these elements are depleted quickly due to their high oxidative abilities and reactivity with organic materials. Iodine and bromine are related to the pink chromo-protein (pocciloporin).
For best results in displaying coral colors use Red Sea’s NO3: PO4– X.

fuel™ is a comprehensive carbohydrate, vitamin, amino acid, polyunsaturated fatty acid, and trace element supplement developed to address nutritional requirements commonly associated with corals. fuel™ contains ascorbic acid in a base of chlorella, which contains a rich assortment of amino acids and vitamins. The health benefits of chlorella are widely known and while spirulina, a similar algae, has been regularly used in the industry, aquavitro is the first to utilize the vastly superior chlorella. fuel™ is formulated to provide nutrients available from natural tropical reef waters.
Chlorella is a unique algae that grows in fresh water. It is extremely high in enzymes, vitamins and minerals, including the full vitamin-B Complex. It is over-flowing with unsaturated fatty acids, amino acids, and proteins. There are also vitamins found in Chlorella including: Vitamin C, pro-vitamin A (B-carotene), thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), pyridoxine (B6), niacin, pantothenic acid, folic acid, Vitamin B12, biotin, choline, Vitamin K, lipoic acid, and inositol. Minerals in Chlorella include: phosphorus, calcium, zinc, iodine, magnesium, iron, and copper. A frequent occurrence in reef systems is low pH, while calcium and alkalinity are at optimal levels. Raise one and the others may fall. One of the primary reasons for this is an improper carbonate/bicarbonate ratio. The buffer ratio changes as a natural consequence of the buffer's ability to counteract acidifying sources such as organic acids (produced naturally from waste) or introduced from non-pH controlled husbandry products. In this case, adding more buffer would unnecessarily result in a rise in alkalinity and a drop in calcium. The first product of its kind, balance™ ends this see-saw effect. It resets this ratio by converting bicarbonate into carbonate in order to reassert a higher pH without affecting calcium level.
balance™ is an optimized blend of sodium and potassium hydroxides with a NSW ratio (27:1) of sodium to potassium to avoid ionic imbalance with long term use.

AmGuard is the strongest liquid ammonia binder on the market. It works within minutes to detoxify free ammonia, and it doesn't degrade for nearly 72 hours. That's at least twice as long as our competitors products. Unlike competing products, AmGuard converts it into a safe, non-toxic form that is readily removed by the tanks biofilter. It does not alter pH.
Ammonia can exist in two forms: free and ionized. It is only the free form that is toxic. Traditional ammonia test kits convert all ammonia to free ammonia by raising pH to 12–14; at this pH AmGuard cannot function and thus a false positive reading will result. Cichlid Lake Saltâ„¢ is a chemically sound blend of salts designed to replicate the natural environment of Rift Lake African Cichlids. It contains all physiologically essential elements such as magnesium, calcium, sodium, potassium, and includes trace components such as iron, aluminum, and iodide.
Although the major Rift Lakes contain basically the same mineral salts, they do so in greatly differing concentrations. Cichlid Lake Salt™ is formulated so that dosages vary depending on the lake of origin and need only be added when setting up an aquarium or with water changes. Many competing products are little more than combinations of Epsom salt and bicarbonate of soda. This will not provide a complete replication of the mineral salts that are contained in the lakes of Africa, in particular calcium and potassium. Seachem’s Tanganyika Buffer™ (pH 9.0–9.4) and Malawi/Victoria Buffer™ (pH 7.8–8.4) should be used to adjust carbonate hardness and pH.

Now you can easily mount your Hydra 32 or 64 LED light with one of the simplest methods available; the Hydra LED Flex Arm. The sleek look of the mounting arm is enhanced by the silicone sleeve over the flexible portion of the mounting arm. The design of the arm mounting bracket lets the arm spin into the perfect position while holding the light securely, right where you want it.
Each Flex Arm comes with clamps to secure the 32 or 64 series of LED lights along with tank mounting brackets that work with aquariums up to 1.2" thick. The mount is designed for rimless tanks, however they can be adapted to rimmed tanks fairly easily.

Button Control: Simple and Standard
On fixture control on the Hydra Edge cycles through intensities at 20% increments (while unprogrammed) the fixture will retain the intensity setting last chosen with button through power cycling. Once programmed, the button can be used to factory reset the fixture (other actions required).

Mounting Features
Important New Developments in Mounting the Hydra Edge.
Hydra Edge lights are mounted using two M8 threaded holes on the left and right side of the fixture.
There are two sizes 44 and 68 of “c” brackets and two types - back mount (3) and top mount (4).
“C” brackets allow the light to be angled (1). In the case of a single mount both back and top brackets provide this capability. In the case of the traditional top mount (4) “c” bracket the light can also be rotated 180 degrees.
Flex arm kits and hanging kits will be immediately available for Hydra Edge. HMS kits and hybrid kits must be used with the appropriate sized adapter kit (HYDE44AK or HYDE68AK) until HMS kits are revised to replace Hydra parts with Hydra Edge parts.
HYDE44AK contain both a top mount and a back mount “c” bracket for a single Hydra Edge 44HD/ 44HD FW. HYDE69AK contain both a top mount and a back mount “c” bracket for a single Hydra Edge 64HD
