Potassium is an essential element required in metabolic processes, protein synthesis, and growth of corals and macroalgae. In systems supported with nitrogen and phosphorus supplementation, potassium utilization rates may be increased. Supplementing with Reef Potassium provides a targeted means of increasing potassium concentrations effectively without also adding phosphate or dissolved organics.
In many reef aquariums, potassium supplementation can enhance coral and macroalgae growth and color – particularly red and pink colors in corals.
Ideal potassium levels will vary but generally range from 380 - 400 mg/L potassium. Reef Potassium contains 10% elemental potassium. Use Reef Nitrogen and Reef Phosphorus to maintain optimal nitrogen and phosphorus levels.

Nitrogen is an essential element required in metabolic processes, protein synthesis, and growth of corals and macroalgae. Research suggests a tightly closed nitrogen cycle on reefs where concentrations are higher in micro-zones near the corals (Radecker 2015, Wiedenmann, 2023) than in the surrounding water.
It is important to maintain nitrogen levels along with phosphorus levels in order to allow for optimal growth and coloration of corals and macroalgae.
Supplementing with inorganic nitrogen provides a targeted means of increasing nitrogen without also adding phosphate or dissolved organics. A typical nitrate test will show all forms of nitrogen being added by Reef Nitrogen. Reef Nitrogen is easily dosed manually as well. Ideal nitrogen levels will vary but generally range from 1 – 2 mg/L (4.4 – 8.9 mg/L nitrate). Use Seachem’s Reef Phosphorus to achieve a balance of nitrogen to phosphorus levels for optimal results.

Mounting Features
Important New Developments in Mounting the Hydra Edge.
Hydra Edge lights are mounted using two M8 threaded holes on the left and right side of the fixture.
There are two sizes 44 and 68 of “c” brackets and two types - back mount (3) and top mount (4).
“C” brackets allow the light to be angled (1). In the case of a single mount both back and top brackets provide this capability. In the case of the traditional top mount (4) “c” bracket the light can also be rotated 180 degrees.
Flex arm kits and hanging kits will be immediately available for Hydra Edge. HMS kits and hybrid kits must be used with the appropriate sized adapter kit (HYDE44AK or HYDE68AK) until HMS kits are revised to replace Hydra parts with Hydra Edge parts.
HYDE44AK contain both a top mount and a back mount “c” bracket for a single Hydra Edge 44HD/ 44HD FW. HYDE69AK contain both a top mount and a back mount “c” bracket for a single Hydra Edge 64HD

Ultum Nature Systems Glass Lids and Clear Clips
Glass lids are the perfect addition to your Ultum Nature Systems rimless glass aquarium tank. They are great for minimizing water evaporation and keeping even the most skittish fish, safe – all without compromising the clean aesthetic of a rimless planted tank. Crafted with precision, they fit any UNS tank while ensuring proper room for essential equipment.
NOTE: At this time, Ultum Nature Systems does not produce lids to fit 75P, 90P, 90U, 120U, 150U, and 180U tank sizes.
The Dual All-In-One Standard by UNS comes as a complete system consisting of an aquarium and integrated filter chamber, which offers sufficient space for creating impressive aquascapes. The three-part filter chamber has space for the corresponding Bio Block filter media, the filter sponge and the reliable water pump.
The UNS All-in-One System offers three models, each designed for specific purposes and room designs.
The Standard model encompasses the most common aquarium sizes, providing ample space for beautiful aquascapes. It is ideal for those interested in a lush freshwater planted aquarium or a vibrant saltwater coral reef. Standard aquariums offer perfect proportions inspired by the Golden Ratio (a principle from art and architecture that defines ideal proportions based on the ratio of 1:1.618), making them suitable for both beginners and experienced aquarists who value aesthetics and functionality.
The center piece of each model is the innovative three-part chamber that enables advanced and efficient water treatment.
Chamber 1The first chamber contains a thick, high-quality, reusable black sponge that acts as a mechanical filter medium. This coarse sponge effectively traps debris such as fish waste and plant debris to prevent it from entering the other chambers or the water pump. It is easy to remove and clean, which simplifies maintenance and ensures trouble-free operation.
Chamber 2The second chamber houses the Ultum Nature Systems Bio Bricks, a newly developed porous ceramic biomaterial used for biological filtration. These Bio Bricks are stackable and make a significant contribution to creating a balanced and healthy underwater ecosystem. In addition, this chamber offers space for further filter media, which can be added or adapted as required.
Chamber 3The third and final chamber houses the water pump, which is the centrepiece of the aquarium. This powerful pump is fully submersible and has an adjustable flow nozzle. With the Sigma pump, the water can be circulated efficiently in the aquarium, whereby the standard and rotating nozzles ensure optimum flow direction and circulation.
The Dual All-In-One Standard Aquarium is characterised by its user-friendly design, including the built-in water level control and the cut-out windows that make it easy to monitor the water level in the camber.
