CO2 addition device for freshwater aquaria
UNIVERSALLY APPLICABLE. DENNERLE CO2 addition units can be combined with all DENNERLE CO2 fertilization systems. They are also ideal for retrofitting or increasing the performance of existing CO2 systems. False gas venting: Whenever a CO2 bubble dissolves in the water, other gases naturally dissolved in the aquarium water (e.g. nitrogen) simultaneously enter this CO2 bubble. All DENNERLE CO2 addition units therefore have a specially developed false gas vent. Here, the false gases are separated from the – significantly heavier – CO2 and are automatically discharged at regular intervals. Possible “clogging” of the units by false gases is effectively prevented. DENNERLE CO2 addition units are therefore highly effective. The valuable CO2 is used in the best possible way.

The diffusers are made of transparent, break-proof acrylic. This makes them considerably safer to handle than conventional glass diffusers and also ideal for children’s aquariums, for example. Due to their ultra-compact shape, they can be installed “invisibly” in the aquarium using the suction holder provided. Thanks to their attractive appearance, however, they are not disturbing in the visible area either. The newly developed membranes are manufactured from a special sintered material with extremely small pores. The resulting nano-atomization of the supplied CO2 ensures a highly effective and safe dissolution of this important plant nutrient in the aquarium. The Carbo Bio Start 60 bio CO2 fertilizer system supplies all freshwater aquaria up to 60 liters (15.85 US gal.) with vital CO2. It is ready for operation in just a few steps. CO2 production already starts after 24 to 48 hours. AQUAEL PAT MINI is a tiny turbine filter intended for use in small freshwater aquariums. This device consists of a small head and a carefully selected filter sponge. Thanks to the innovative design, the maximum throughput of the filter head reaches 400 l/h, which is comparable to the typical performance of a medium-sized turbine aquarium filter.Despite its high performance, the filter operates at a power consumption of 4W or less. Given its specifications, PAT MINI can provide efficient filtration even in a 120-liter tank. However, you should not be concerned about the filter creating an excessive whirling motion in smaller tanks, since there is a performance control switch in the front part of the head that allows you to adjust throughput as required.In addition, the filter is equipped with a directional nozzle that can be used to control the outflow of water into the tank e.g. by directing it towards a tank wall.
