Dosing pump heads do not last forever, and on average, the Kamoer Dosing Pump heads can last up to 2000 hours of run time. After that, there is a good chance that the lubricant on the tube and rollers will start to dissipate and cause more resistance and wear for the motor driving that channel. Maintaining the heads on the dosing system will help keep the motors running longer while providing more precise dosing.Replacing the head only takes a few seconds, and start by removing the input and output dosing tube from the head that needs to be replaced. Then by pinching the tabs at the base of the head, you can pull it away from the dosing pump body. Replacement 6-roller head assembly for the Kamoer FX-STP Dosing Pump. Over time it is common for the rollers to start to wear and cause additional friction, which can slow the pumps motor and require additional electricity to operate. We recommend changing the pump head assembly every 9000 hours, or as needed.

Mounting Features
Important New Developments in Mounting the Hydra Edge.
Hydra Edge lights are mounted using two M8 threaded holes on the left and right side of the fixture.
There are two sizes 44 and 68 of “c” brackets and two types - back mount (3) and top mount (4).
“C” brackets allow the light to be angled (1). In the case of a single mount both back and top brackets provide this capability. In the case of the traditional top mount (4) “c” bracket the light can also be rotated 180 degrees.
Flex arm kits and hanging kits will be immediately available for Hydra Edge. HMS kits and hybrid kits must be used with the appropriate sized adapter kit (HYDE44AK or HYDE68AK) until HMS kits are revised to replace Hydra parts with Hydra Edge parts.

Self-LevelingThe Self-leveling feature is activated whenever the wetness of the foam in the neck exceeds the user-adjusted “over-skim” threshold. The intensity of the pump is immediately reduced to prevent the over-skim and then gradually increased or decreased, a bit at a time, according to the foam wetness, until the preset pump intensity is reached and stable skimming is restored.

The new Deltec 600i 24VDC protein skimmer is suitable for aquariums from 200 up to 600 liters. The Deltec 600i comes with some great safety features. Should the water level in the sump suddenly exceed the maximum depth for the skimmer, or the air feed becomes blocked, the new emergency overflow system prevents the collection cup from overflowing.As the water level rises within the protein skimmer the air feed to the pump will shut off automatically via the emergency overflow further reducing the chance of foam flooding the skimmer cup.The base is a new hollow design where the water flows through to the level adjustment and indicator tubes. This new design feature means that water will exit the protein skimmer body from the lowest point greatly reducing the chance of micro bubbles escaping the body, increasing air- water contact time and also reducing noise and turbulence within the protein skimmer body.Removing the pump for cleaning and maintenance can be achieved in 20 seconds, thus keeping the skimmer running at optimal efficiency is a breeze.With the body of the skimmer being a cylinder and not tapered or conical shape, all the small air bubbles can rise unhindered, fully saturated and will only burst in the foam pot riser, adding to the efficiency and performance of Deltec skimmers.

With only 11 watt about 500 liters of air are generated.Cleaning SystemFor the Deltec Skimmer 600i, there is an optional cleaning head system, whereby the inner standpipe is cleaned by deposits by turning the connection cup. If these deposits are not removed at regular intervals, the skimming performance is drastically reduced over time as foam bubbles burst prematurely at this layer and thus cannot contribute to water purification.Cylindrical ShapeThanks to the ergonomic cylinder shape, the Deltec Skimmer 600i achieves the best skimming results. The shape of the skimmer does not taper upwards. This allows the small air bubbles to rise unhindered, are fully saturated and burst only in the riser of the connection cup. From there, the collected broth can be discharged via a drain hose without having to take the connection cup.
Emergency OverflowThe water level in the skimmer can be read off at the emergency overflow pipe. Furthermore, the marks for the minimum and maximum level help with the perfect adjustment of the water level. Due to the possibility of exchanging the emergency overflow pipe with the regulator pipe, you can decide for yourself how the pipes are arranged.Disassembly, Dimensions & ConstructionRegularly required cleaning of the pump is very easy thanks to the easy and fast disassembly of the skimmer. According to the manufacturer, the pump can be removed from the skimmer in a few seconds. The Deltec Skimmer 600i can be mounted and disassembled without tools. The dimensions of the skimmer are selected so that you can place them comfortably in your filter basin. Due to the high volume of the cylinder shape, a small base area is sufficient. You can operate the skimmer variably in 15 to 25 cm water depth.
