Feeding Instructions
Feed 1 to 2 times daily. Pop out a portion from the blister pack and drop it directly into your aquarium, or thaw it briefly in a small cup of aquarium water before pouring it in. Feed only the amount your fish can completely consume within 3 to 5 minutes. To maintain optimal water quality, use a net to remove any uneaten food after the feeding period.
Pro Tip: Bloodworms are an excellent conditioning food if you are preparing your fish for breeding, thanks to their exceptionally high protein content!

Potassium is one of several elements that are vitally important to maintaining a vigorous level of growth in a planted aquarium. Potassium can become depleted in a rapidly growing system or when the source water has a low mineral content. In these cases potassium could become the limiting factor to growth. Use Flourish Potassiumâ„¢ to prevent potassium depletion (signs of which include yellowing in older leaves) and maintain the highest level of growth.
The most easily obtained sources of potassium are potassium nitrate and potassium phosphate. Both of these sources add to either nitrogen or phosphorus as well as potassium, making it virtually impossible to target a specific NPK ratio. The ability to adjust the working/output pressure ensures the regulator will be able to meet the needs of any aquarium requirements; whether that is operating a single CO2 diffuser, or multiple diffusers, this regulator can be adjusted to deliver the pressure that's needed.A high-precision needle valve is fitted as standard, which gives you easy and incredibly accurate control of CO2 dosing. As a result, the regulator is suitable for small/nano aquariums as the bubble rate (dose) can be reduced as low as 1 bubble / 10 seconds.Because the needle valve can rotate, the regulator can be used with either horizontal or vertical cylinder valves. The stem/nut can also be removed and can then connect to nano cartridges, making the regulator suitable for nano aquariums, and much larger aquariums.The integrated solenoid valve provides the ability to automatically shut off the CO2 at timed intervals, e.g. to sync with the aquarium lighting. This ensure CO2 is not being dosed when it's not needed, and will therefore extend the lifespan of your CO2 cylinder and save money. The 12v DC solenoid (mains transformer included) provides safe, low temperature, and guaranteed no noise operation.Dual pressure gauges indicate the cylinder pressure and the output / working pressure.
Instructions
Tighten the regulator to your CO2 cylinder using a spanner or wrench. Do not use your hands to tighten, it will not create sufficient seal and be likely to leak.
Set the output pressure to minimum by turning the pressure adjuster knob fully anticlockwise.
Close the needle valve by turning fully clockwise.
Plug the solenoid into a mains socket and switch on.
Open the flow of gas from your CO2 cylinder.
The cylinder pressure gauge will now indicate the pressure of the cylinder. Turn the pressure adjuster clockwise until it reads 40PSI, which is a good starting point for a single diffuser installation.
With the bubble counter attached, turn the needle valve anticlockwise to achieve the bubble rate desired. 1 bubble / second is suitable for a 150L aquarium - adjust your dosing in accordance to this, i.e. 2 bubble / second for 300L aquarium.

Meridian is an all natural oolitic (spherical or egg shaped) aragonite substrate for all reef and marine aquaria. Meridian is the premium aragonite substrate for the reef aquaria. It's grain size (a fairly uniform 0.25 - 0.50 mm) is ideally suited to reef inhabitants and it's chemical composition will assist in stabilizing calcium and alkalinity while preventing large pH declines. Unlike competing "wet" products marketed under the guise of being "live", Meridian is sold dry, thus you pay only for gravel and not for unneeded water. These products imply that they contain living, microscopic animals when in fact they only contain common bacteria. Dry or wet, there are bacteria on every substrate available. If one is concerned with shortening the aquarium cycle time for a new system, then the use of a product designed for that particular purpose would be more appropriate (such as Seachem’s Stability®).

Phorax - Phosphate Remover
JUWEL Phorax is a highly effective filter medium used to break down phosphates in your aquarium. This effectively reduces the growth of algae and can contribute to improved plant growth.
Phosphate regularly gets into aquariums through fish food and are naturally very unlikely to be broken down. However, plants need only tiny quantities of phosphate for their natural growth (fresh water: 0.05 mg/l, saltwater 0.01 mg/l). Too much phosphate can, in some cases, trigger prolific algae growth.
Phorax consists of an aluminium mineral which binds dissolved phosphate by creating a water-insoluble aluminium phosphate and removing it from the water. This makes JUWEL Phorax highly effective, binding up to 12 mg of phosphate per gram of Phorax.

Equilibrium is specifically designed to establish the ideal mineral content for the planted aquarium. Equilibrium contains no sodium or chloride (which can be detrimental to a planted aquarium at elevated levels). Equilibrium is ideally suited for use with RO (reverse osmosis) or DI (deionized) water or any mineral deficient water. Equilibrium raises the essential mineral/electrolyte content (General Hardness) of the water to balance with and promote stability of the carbonate hardness. To maintain KH, we recommend Alkaline Buffer.
Unlike competing products, Equilibrium contains NO SODIUM CHLORIDE. Both sodium and chloride are not rapidly depleted elements in a planted aquarium, and, in the case of chloride, can do more harm than good. Competitors products generally contain primarily sodium chloride (because it is inexpensive), which will raise the electrolyte levels for fish, but can be detrimental to plant growth. In addition, sodium is not a contributing cation to GH levels.
