The Koi Medic provides accurate results and is very easy to use, simply turn on and hold in the pond. Within a couple seconds the LCD displays the salt concentration measured in percentage. Measures accurately from 0.01% to 1%.
Salt concentrations between 0.3% and 0.5% (3 to 5 ppt) will upset the osmotic balance of some parasites i.e. the parasites’ cells will dehydrate. Salt concentration of 0.3% are effective at detoxifying nitrite and concentration of 0.25% or higher has been used to control string algae.

The Pontec PondoVario 2500 Fountain Pump Sets are part of a range of cost effective fountain pumps which come in a range of sizes. They are simple, compact and easy to use and control. The PondoVario 1500 - 3500 pumps are housed within a robust strainer cage which has larger sized slots to reduce cleaning when feeding a fountain or feature which can handle larger particles. Additionally the 2500 model come with 2 extra removable fine slot panels which when fitted will make the pump more suitable for wildlife ponds or when feeding a fountain head with smaller holes. Each pump is supplied with a telescopic fountain tube with a flow controller and 4 fountain heads. The PondoVario 2500 size also include a T piece allowing the water flow to the fountain and a 9mm hose connection, both being independently adjustable. With the T Piece and extension fitted the total height from the bottom of the pump to the top of the fountain nozzle is 530mm.

How to Use ItPosition the vacuum beside your pond and connect the supplied hoses. Lower the suction nozzle into the pond and switch the unit on.
