Seachem's Coral Plugs are a chemically advanced means of supplying a unique platform for the stable mounting and/or grow out of all coral fragments and colonies. They are enhanced with calcium and magnesium to aid corals in rapid and secure growth. They are designed for mounting SPS and LPS coral but are just as well suited for soft corals, colonial polyps, and various other sessile invertebrates. Coral Plugs are also designed to mesh together tightly when used in most coral culture systems so that various encrusting and colonial corals, such as zoanthids can spread quickly from plug to plug.
X2SR is a Wi-Fi controllable water change system. The user can remotely control it through the mobile phone App. The user can use the X2SR to automatically change the water in their own sea or fresh water tanks at a fixed time and quantitatively.The automatic water replenishment function can be completed through the submersible pump interface. In response to possible overflow risks, X2SR is equipped with an anti-overflow sensor as standard. Phosfiltrum is a specially formulated, high-density, granular ferric oxide (GFO). Research suggests a tightly closed nitrogen cycle on reefs where concentrations are higher in micro-zones near the corals (Radecker 2015, Wiedenmann, 2023) than in the surrounding water.
It is important to maintain nitrogen levels along with phosphorus levels in order to allow for optimal growth and coloration of corals and macroalgae.
Supplementing with inorganic nitrogen provides a targeted means of increasing nitrogen without also adding phosphate or dissolved organics. A typical nitrate test will show all forms of nitrogen being added by Reef Nitrogen. Reef Nitrogen is easily dosed manually as well.
