10 in stock Delivery in 2-5 Days  Excluding Weekends and Public Holidays

The ATI Phosphat Stop Filter Media for Aquariums is a high-efficiency phosphate absorber based on iron hydroxide. It is capable of removing phosphate from both seawater and freshwater quickly and efficiently. It eliminates phosphate, silicate, arsenic, and other dissolved organic waste while also preventing algae formation and improving coral health. The phosphate cannot be released once it has been bound. Even if it is left after its service life has expired, nothing is leached back into the water. ATI phosphate stop is ideal for use in reef aquariums because it does not introduce any harmful substances into the water and may aid in the reduction of certain heavy metals

Guaranteed effectiveness with several different Carbon sources The use of a Carbon source in a marine aquarium is the result of an old technique to lower strongly and quickly the levels of nitrite, nitrate, and phosphate present in the water. This is like the technique of vodka/vinegar/sugar dosing, but without the risk of introducing unwanted elements (coloring, flavoring, etc.) and with multiple carbon sources in right proportions. The added organic carbon strongly stimulates bacteria and quickly lowers the levels of NO2, NO3 and PO4. This bacterial surplus will be consumed by the animals in the tank or eliminated via efficient skimming. [N,P]EX is a combination in the right proportions of several different carbon sources which guarantee its effectiveness. It should only be used by aquarists who are experienced and knowledgeable in monitoring the values of their aquarium. It's recommendend to use when all other NO3 and PO4 limitation measures are no longer effective. Gradually increase the amounts according to the expected parameters levels. Once they are stable, maintain the dosage while regularly monitoring these levels. For the exact application, please refer to the table in the download area. Hikari Coralific Delite

10 in stock Delivery in 2-5 Days  Excluding Weekends and Public Holidays

Coralific Delite™ is a revolutionary diet, specifically developed for corals and their unique nutritional needs while offering two modes of feeding: "Targeted Gel Feeding" directly on the mouth of a specific coral or "Squirt & Go™ Feeding" which allows the coral polyps to capture the food in the water column like they would zooplankton. Dual Use – Offers Maximum Feeding Flexibility Can be used with a syringe in its gel form as a target food Can be used after a short hydration period as a broadcast feed for larger coral populations Excellent zooplankton replacement Offers immediate feeding response Give Your Corals The Boost They Crave Accelerates coral growth Visible color improvement Contains necessary nutrients inverts require, specifically: trace elements, proteins, vitamins and astaxanthin. 1. Targeted Gel FeedingMix two parts tank water to one part Coralific Delite™ to form a gel. Let soak 3 minutes to set, then use a syringe or dropper to squirt food in a slow back and forth motion and place the mixture on the mouth of the coral to be fed.Ideal for many LPS (large polyp stony corals) and sea anemone which have larger mouths.2. Squirt & Go™ FeedingMix four parts tank water to one part Coralific Delite™ to form a low viscosity liquid with a creamy texture. Use a dropper to squirt food with a slow motion in the vicinity of the corals to be fed. The viscosity can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the amount of tank water used.Ideal for soft corals like horny coral and feather dusters which have a smaller mouth.Care should be taken to avoid using too much Coralific Delite™ at one time. The food is highly concentrated and a very small size. Most consumers have a tendency to use too much which cause water quality issues. Smaller amounts more than once a day is a better option than too much at one time. Especially when using as a direct feed. Allowing excessive food to site on the coral for an extended period of time is not desirable.Note: Hikari® Coralific Delite™ contains higher levels of natural ingredients which may cause a slight change in color from one production lot to another. A unique blend of sediments that duplicate tropical fringing coastal mangrove environments. Mineral Mud™ particles are in a size range compatible with soft, burrowing infaunal, macro animal assemblages. Ideal for mud refugiums, seagrasses, macro-algaes, and mangroves, Mineral Mud™ provides a variety of trace elements plus calcium, strontium, iron, sulfur and free carbon. In addition, Mineral Mud™ contains live marine bacteria to complete the tropical ecosystem. Frequently Asked Questions In what type of reactor would I use Mineral Mud™? Mineral Mud™ is actually a refugium media that is meant to be used in a refugium type aquarium with lighting and with plants and algae growing in it. Mineral Mud™ quickly establishes an anaerobic denitrifying bed and acts as a wonderful media for growing most types of marine aquatic plants and algae. This creates an ideal environment for nutrient export, (through algae and plants), and micro faunal growth. It can be used alone or with a ½ to 1” cap of live or dry aragonite Directions For mud filters, empty jar into filter, then mix slightly, and add water (a “cap” of approximately 1/2 to 1 inch of live or dry aragonite sand is suggested). Wait 2-3 days, then begin pumps, and allow system to clear water (may take 1-2 days). Then add macro-algae, seagrasses, or mangroves. Allow tank to cycle, then add fish and corals into main tank. If using Mineral Mud™ in main tank, mix into a small area where you intend to plant your macro-algaes, seagrasses, or mangroves. Do not cover the entire tank bottom. Run pumps for a day or two until water clears, then add plants. NOTE: This substrate contains marine organics, and was created to mimic coastal marine mangrove environments. It is designed to reach anaerobic conditions within an inch of the sub-strate/water interface. Once established, avoid disturbing the bed.

  • Deltec 600i DC Protein Skimmer

Deltec Deltec 600i DC Protein Skimmer

Deltec 600i DC Multi-Stage Power Control Protein Skimmer with Manual Self Cleaning Head The new Deltec 600i 24VDC protein skimmer is suitable for aquariums from 200 up to 600 liters. The Deltec 600i comes with some great safety features. Should the water level in the sump suddenly exceed the maximum depth for the skimmer, or the air feed becomes blocked, the new emergency overflow system prevents the collection cup from overflowing. As the water level rises within the protein skimmer the air feed to the pump will shut off automatically via the emergency overflow further reducing the chance of foam flooding the skimmer cup.The base is a new hollow design where the water flows through to the level adjustment and indicator tubes. This new design feature means that water will exit the protein skimmer body from the lowest point greatly reducing the chance of micro bubbles escaping the body, increasing air- water contact time and also reducing noise and turbulence within the protein skimmer body.Removing the pump for cleaning and maintenance can be achieved in 20 seconds, thus keeping the skimmer running at optimal efficiency is a breeze. With the body of the skimmer being a cylinder and not tapered or conical shape, all the small air bubbles can rise unhindered, fully saturated and will only burst in the foam pot riser, adding to the efficiency and performance of Deltec skimmers. Product Details: Highly efficient cylinder shape New developed emergency overflow with water level indicator Extremely quiet operation due to new hollow chamber floor Low power consumption Quick and easy removal of the pump Variable adjustable DC pump Technical Details: Aquarium Size 200 to 600 litres Dimensions: 24 x 15,5 x 52 cm Pump: Deltec DCC2 Power Consumption:11 Watt, creating 500 liters of air (in normal operation) For sumps with 15 to 25 cm water level PumpThe Deltec Skimmer 600i is operated with the Deltec DCC2. With only 11 watt about 500 liters of air are generated.Cleaning SystemFor the Deltec Skimmer 600i, there is an optional cleaning head system, whereby the inner standpipe is cleaned by deposits by turning the connection cup. If these deposits are not removed at regular intervals, the skimming performance is drastically reduced over time as foam bubbles burst prematurely at this layer and thus cannot contribute to water purification.Cylindrical ShapeThanks to the ergonomic cylinder shape, the Deltec Skimmer 600i achieves the best skimming results. The shape of the skimmer does not taper upwards. This allows the small air bubbles to rise unhindered, are fully saturated and burst only in the riser of the connection cup. From there, the collected broth can be discharged via a drain hose without having to take the connection cup. Emergency OverflowThe water level in the skimmer can be read off at the emergency overflow pipe. Furthermore, the marks for the minimum and maximum level help with the perfect adjustment of the water level. Due to the possibility of exchanging the emergency overflow pipe with the regulator pipe, you can decide for yourself how the pipes are arranged.Disassembly, Dimensions & ConstructionRegularly required cleaning of the pump is very easy thanks to the easy and fast disassembly of the skimmer. According to the manufacturer, the pump can be removed from the skimmer in a few seconds. The Deltec Skimmer 600i can be mounted and disassembled without tools. The dimensions of the skimmer are selected so that you can place them comfortably in your filter basin. Due to the high volume of the cylinder shape, a small base area is sufficient. You can operate the skimmer variably in 15 to 25 cm water depth.

Kamoer Kamoer X4 Plus Replacement Pump Head

Dosing pump heads do not last forever, and on average, the Kamoer Dosing Pump heads can last up to 2000 hours of run time. After that, there is a good chance that the lubricant on the tube and rollers will start to dissipate and cause more resistance and wear for the motor driving that channel. Maintaining the heads on the dosing system will help keep the motors running longer while providing more precise dosing.Replacing the head only takes a few seconds, and start by removing the input and output dosing tube from the head that needs to be replaced. Then by pinching the tabs at the base of the head, you can pull it away from the dosing pump body. Inserting the new one is just as easy, slide it over the motor spindle until it clicks into place, then reattach the dosing tubes and you are ready to go.What's Included?1x Replacement Kamoer Dosing Pump Head

Kamoer Kamoer F4 Replacement Pump Head

Coral Color A is a complex of halogens (Iodine, Bromine and Fluorine). The halogens act both as antioxidants and oxidative agents within the soft tissue and mucus layer of corals, reducing the possibility of coral bleaching. In active reef systems, these elements are depleted quickly due to their high oxidative abilities and reactivity with organic materials. Iodine and bromine are related to the pinkchroma-protein (pocciloporin).Coral Color B is a complex of Potassium and Boron. Potassium plays an essential role in the transportation of coral nutrients within the soft tissue (including the nutrients provided by the Zooxanthellae). Potassium and Boron significantly affect the alkalinity of a coral’s soft tissue and the formation of aragonite in its skeleton. Potassium is related to the red chroma-proteins.Coral Color C is a complex of 8 “light” metals that includes Iron, Manganese, Cobalt, Copper, Aluminum, Zinc, Chrome and Nickel. These micro-elements are essential to many bio-chemical metabolic processes, including respiration, production of energy, chlorophyll and photosynthetic catalysts. C elements are related to the green/yellow chroma-proteins.Coral Color D is a complex of 18 trace elements. These 18 elements (out of all the trace elements in NSW) participate in the metabolic processes inside a coral’s skeleton and soft tissue. D elements are related to the blue/purple chroma-proteins.Weekly dosing - Soft CoralsTest the Color Elements every week and dose each supplement to replenish back to the optimal levels.Daily dosing - SPS coralsEnsure that all of the Color Elements are at optimal values and run the aquarium for4 days at a stable salinity (compensate for evaporation daily) without adding anysupplements. At the end of the 4 days test the Color Elements and calculate the “4 day dosage” of each supplement to replenish back to the optimal levels. Add the “4 day dosage” to the system. Divide this “4 day dosage” by 4 and use as the daily dosage for the next week. After a week of adding the daily dosage, test the Color Elements and calculate the adjusting dosage of each supplement to replenish back to the optimal levels. If the adjusting dosage is significantly different from the previous daily dosage amend (increase/decrease) the daily dosage as appropriate. If the measured level of a specific element is above the optimal level wait for the excess of the element to be depleted before restarting the daily supplementation with the amended daily dosage. Continue testing all of the elements every week and make adjustments to the dailydosages as required. As your corals grow or you add or remove livestock the uptake of the elements in your aquarium will gradually change. It is recommended to keep a log book of the weekly measurements and dosages. If you miss one or more days of supplementing add the complete amount that you have missed but do not exceed the maximum recommended daily increase for any of the elements

  • Red Sea KH/Alkalinity Pro Titration Test Kit

Red Sea Red Sea KH/Alkalinity Pro Titration Test Kit

5 in stock Delivery in 2-5 Days  Excluding Weekends and Public Holidays

Red Sea KH/Alkalinity Pro Titration Test Kit (75 Tests) This Test Kit is an advanced titration test, measuring the level of buffers in your reef aquarium to an exceptionally high resolution of 0.025 meq/l, making this kit a must have for any reef keeper. This test kit enables the accurate dosing of Red Sea's Reef Foundation B supplement (buffer) which is part of the complete Red Sea Reef Care program. Introduction to pH & Alkalinity: The pH is a very important parameter in the biology of aquatic organisms. It is a measure of the acidity or basicity of the water. The scale runs from zero to 14. Zero is the most acidic, 7 is neutral and 14 is the most basic. A change of 1 pH unit, for example from 7 to 6, means that the water gets 10 times more acidic.Due to its chemistry, salt-water is able to absorb a certain amount of acidic matter without a resulting change in pH. The substances in the water that do this are called buffers. The ability of water to withstand changes in pH is called buffer capacity. Based on a method of measuring buffer capacity it is referred to as the alkalinity of seawater. In some of the literature alkalinity is termed “Carbonate Hardness” or “ KH Carbonate Buffer”. This is exactly the same measurement as is measured in the Alkalinity Mini-Lab Test.pH and Alkalinity The pH of natural seawater varies geographically in the world’s oceans between 8.1 and 8.4. On a local scale the pH is however remarkably stable. This is due to dissolved buffers (mainly bicarbonates), which prevent pH changes. Because of the enormous volume of the ocean, a nearly inexhaustible stock of buffers are present: the sea can take up large amounts of acids, without a noticeable change in pH.Compared to the sea the volume of a marine aquarium is very limited and therefore the alkalinity is also limited. As fish produce acid waste products and as the buffering substances are used up by calcareous algae and invertebrates, the buffer capacity may become so low that the pH could suddenly fall. This would be very dangerous to all organisms in the aquarium. The alkalinity is measured in so called mil-equivalents of alkaline substances (for example sodium bicarbonate) per liter. These alkaline substances have the power to prevent pH drops. The alkalinity of natural seawater is approximately 2.5 mil-equivalents per liter. This level should also be maintained in the marine aquarium.A common symptom of an unsuitable pH is pH-stress. Especially in the marine aquarium, unsuitable pH values are very stressful to fish, and increase the chance of the fish being susceptible to disease (marine white spot). This Test Kit comes complete with: Robust housing, Glass Test Vial, Color comparison chart, Titrator included (easy to use, single hand, high precision tritator), 100ml sample of Reef Foundation B, 60ml of KH Buffer, test up to 75 times, In depth instruction manual.
