The ISTA in-line external heater is designed for vertical use in most aquarium applications involving water hose of the specified diameter.
The ISTA External Heater must be used in a vertical manner for correct operation. The most common application is for use with canister filter, however the ISTA External Heater is easily adapted for use in almost any situation where heated aquarium water is required, such as with wet/dry sump pumps.
The ISTA External Heater is easily installed by cutting the tubing and connecting the two parts of the tube to each side of the ISTA External Heater.For reduced maintenance, it is recommended that the ISTA External Heater be installed within the filter`s output assembly. As most canister filters are not designed to bear weight, it is recommended that the ISTA External Heater be properly supported by the use of the attached loop to avoid stress on the output assembly.
The ISTA External Heater is completely safe and UL Listed.
There is no danger of damage if the ISTA External Heater is left running dry for short periods as the ISTA External Heater will switch itself off in that event. Echinodorus ‘Ozelot Red’ – Red Flame’ is an especially decorative Echinodorus cultivar, selected by the famous breeder Hans Barth sen. (Dessau, Germany) in the 1990s. Echinodorus ‘Ozelot Red’ reaches a moderate height of about 30 cm and develops a dense rosette of many leaves. Its underwater leaves have an about 10 cm long stalk and a 20 cm long, 10 cm wide blade. Especially the younger leaves show a contrasting pattern of densely set dark-red blotches on bright brown-red to light green ground. Also on older leaves, the spot pattern is still visible. The blotch pattern is stronger and denser than in the similar Echinodorus ‘Ozelot’.
As most sword plants, this cultivar is mostly delivered by the nurseries in its terrestrial (emersed) form, with rather inconspicuous green leaves. Once planted in the aquarium, submerged leaves will appear, showing the full splendour of this plant.
As well as virtually all Echinodorus, Echinodorus ‘Ozelot Red’ grows best with abundant macro- and micronutrient supply via the substrate. Strong lighting with high red component enhances the intense coloration of the submerged foliage. The water parameters are of subordinate importance, however CO2 supply promotes the growth. Occasionally inflorescences may appear, developing adventitious plantlets.
With its bright coloration and striking pattern, Echinodorus ‘Red Flame’ is a realy eyecatcher in the aquarium. It provides a strong accent in the midground. With its relatively small size it is also suitable for the background of smaller, to about 30 cm high tanks.

Echinodorus ‘Ozelot Green’ – This well-growing swordplant cultivar has leaves with red-brown spots, as well as Echinodorus ‘Ozelot’, but differs by light to middle green basic colour, causing an especially contrasting pattern. Otherwise it is similar to the normal ‘Ozelot’: the submerged leaves are narrowly elliptic with wavy edge; the leaf rosette gets about 40-50 cm tall and 40 cm broad.
The Green Ozelot swordplant looks best as a solitary plant or small, loose group in the midground to background of bigger, at least 50 cm high aquariums. Dark green spots are a beautiful contrast on lighter green leaves. Leaf margin is fluted. Nutrient rich substrate promotes growth, fertilization beneficial. Echinodorus Ozelot Green is easy to grow and care for as it thrives in almost all tank conditions. Vigorous growth when nutritional requirements are met. Capable of submersed or emersed growth. Propagation by rhizome division of larger plants or adventitious shoots. When exposed to an extended photoperiod, 12+ hours, Ozelot swords send up adventitious shoots that will extend above water surface. If kept submerged, these shoots will produce more daughter plants. Can propagate plantlets after 5-8cm of growth, remove carefully. A Good beginners plant.

Marsilea hirsuta is a carpet-plant from Australia. A fascinating plant, usually delivered with leaves like a four-leaf clover. After a transitional period it develops different types of leaves, possibly a low form with single leaves like a large Glossostigma, or alternatively develop two, three or four-lobed leaves varying in height ,depending on the growth conditions. Whichever form the plant adopts, it forms runners and spreads rapidly round the aquarium.

Hemianthus micranthemoides – Hemianthus glomeratus is a delicate stem plant from Florida. In the hobby, it has long been known under the erroneous name H. micranthemoides (or Micranthemum micranthemoides). It was recently identified correctly in the USA. With its small, light green curved leaves it is nice for beautiful dense group plantings. Under intensive light it tends to develop a creeping growth habit and thus can be used as foreground plant for strongly-lit tanks.Hemianthus micranthemoides – However, it is better-suited for bushy groups in the middle ground of larger tanks or for the background of nano aquaria. Under strong light it can also be cultivated emerged, given that the substrate is kept moist. Then you’ll get a dense mat with very small leaves.

This off-the-shelf coral food makes feeding your corals so much easier and efficient. Their soft semi-moist pellet structure ensures an optimal acceptance and digestion. Besides that the pellets are packed with selected molecules to trigger feeding response. Comes in two pellet sizes. The small pellets (+- 2.5mm) are developed for Ricordea and smaller LPS corals (such as Acanthastrea, Blastomussa, Lobophyllia,…). They consist of small fresh planktonic prey items like copepods. For larger LPS corals we formulated a diet with larger planktonic prey items like krill. These pellets are around 6mm, perfect for corals like Scolymia, Lobophyllia, Trachyphyllia, Duncanopsammia and Catalaphyllia. Feed your corals every other day. AQUAEL presents a revolutionary new line of internal aquarium filters. The ASAP filters combine high performance and great usability features with a clever design that reduces the time required for maintenance works.
The ASAP internal filter consists of a modern energy-efficient motor placed in a stylish housing and a large transparent filter bowl filled with carefully chosen filtration sponge. The sponge is quickly populated by beneficial bacteria, so water passing through the filter undergoes biological as well as mechanical filtration. Thanks to that, it stays clear and safe for the inhabitants of the aquarium.
The filter requires two basic types of maintenance procedures. One consists in removing the filter bowl and replacing it with a new one (we offer standard cartridges as well as cartridges with activated carbon or phosphate absorber to prevent the growth of algae). The other involves the rinsing of filtration sponge in water drained from the tank. This operation can be performed without the need to remove the entire filter from the aquarium tank, which is very convenient and significantly reduces maintenance time.
The new ASAP internal filters are also ideally suited for use in aquaterrariums, since they can operate in shallow water as little as 5 centimetres deep. In addition, they effectively oxygenate water in the tank by causing a strong movement of the water surface. There are three models of the filter available, with a capacity of 300, 500, and 700 l/h correspondingly. They are designed for use in aquarium tanks with capacities ranging from a few dozen to 250 litres. Thanks to their functional properties, these filters can be used by beginning and experienced aquarists alike.

Feeding
Regularly monitor your water temperature and adjust the amount and frequency of your feedings based on this temperature, the water condition, number and size of fish and their activity level. Avoid over-feeding and always remove any uneaten food remaining after the feeding period.
For 64-86°F (18-30°C) – Feed two to four times per day the amount your fish will completely consume within five minutes.
For 41-64°F (5-18°C) – Feed no more than twice daily the amount your fish will completely consume within five minutes. For best results try to feed during the warmer part of the day.
Below 41°F (5°C) – Do not feed your fish.
During any appetite loss, after sickness, or during medicating, your koi’s eating habits may be significantly reduced, careful monitoring of the amount of food you feed is required to avoid problems.

IODINE+ Supplement is part of the complete range of complementary major, minor and trace element complexes which together provide the needs of corals.
IODINE+ Supplement contains iodine and other halogens that are associated with many biological processes, one of them being the production of the pink pigments in the soft tissue of corals.
The halogens act both as antioxidants and oxidative agents within the soft tissue and mucus layer of corals, reducing the possibility of coral bleaching.
In active reef systems, these elements are depleted quickly due to their high oxidative abilities and reactivity with organic materials. Iodine and bromine are related to the pink chromo-protein (pocciloporin).
For best results in displaying coral colors use Red Sea’s NO3: PO4– X.
1ml will raise the iodine level of 100 liters (25 gal) by 0.03ppm

Calcium, magnesium, strontium and carbonate are the basic foundation elements of coral skeletons.
All of these elements need to be available in balanced proportions for positive coral health and growth.
Red Sea’s CALCIUM+ contains blended salts of calcium and strontium in the ratio required by corals and is part of Red Sea’s complete Reef Care Program.
Liquid supplement: 1ml will raise the Ca level of 100 liters (25 gal) by 2ppm.
